Can you imagine? Your close friends nominate you to run a food ministry for widows one day, and the next you are standing before an angry mob with some pretty hefty stones in their hands. While it may not have happened that quickly, things did escalate quickly for the martyr we know as Stephen. But pay close attention to the peace and calm of his countenance as the mob became angrier and angrier. That could only come from the Holy Spirit.
