Leadership Course Description

This course is a study of Biblical leadership. Students will gain an understanding of how to lead within the sphere of influence in which they have been placed. As the Church of Jesus Christ, we are called to lead within our culture, not allow culture to lead us.

Preaching, Prophecy, and Proclamation Course Description

This course is an in-depth study of Biblical preaching and prophecy. Students will learn how to proclaim the Word of God whether from the pulpit, in the workplace, or simply with those in their sphere of influence.

Doctrine of the Holy Spirit Course Description

The goal of this course is to gain a Biblical understanding of the person and power of the Holy Spirit. Students will learn through Scripture about how the Holy Spirit works through dreams, visions, tongues, interpretations, and healing, all for the regeneration and sanctification of life.

Lessons include:

  • Biblical readings

  • Greek and Hebrew Scripture studies

  • Use of commentaries and concordances

  • Teaching podcasts and videos

  • Essay and reflection papers

  • Moodle online classroom

  • Differentiating false prophecy and wrong prophecy

  • An understanding the person and the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church

  • A strong grasp of the Holy Spirit’s work in one’s life

  • The ability to surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit

  • A deeper understanding of the Word of God

  • The ability to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ

  • Our course provides training for Leadership, Preaching/Prophecy, and Doctrine of the Holy Spirit. The classes are on a 3-year rotation. In 2025, we will focus specifically on the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit.

    We offer 3 tracks to choose from for the course:

    Track 1 – Audit (attend class only)

    Track 2 – Certification

    • Attend each class

    • Complete coursework

    • Receive a certificate of completion

    Track 3 – Ordination

    • Attend all classes

    • Complete coursework

    • Attend Ordination Coaching meetings

    • Meet annually with ordination board

    • Complete the 3-year course

    • Complete the requirements set forth in ordination guidelines

  • We offer classes both in-person (once a quarter) or online via Zoom (once a month).

    In-person classes are all-day sessions. They meet at an on-site location in Corydon, Indiana, in February, May, August, and October.

    The online classes are held on the first Tuesday of each month from February through December from 7-9 p.m. via Zoom.

  • Track 1 (Audit) – $210/year

    Track 2 (Certification) – $220/year

    Track 3 (Ordination) – $250/year
